Welcome to TrustedBuds. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TrustedBuds mobile application and website (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
TrustedBuds is a social recommendation utility that allows users to create private lists ("Bud Lists"), invite friends, and share location-based reviews. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years of age.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding the password and account information you use to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Generated Content (UGC) & Zero Tolerance Policy
TrustedBuds allows users to post reviews, upload photos, and create group names ("Content"). By posting Content, you grant TrustedBuds a license to use, modify, and display said Content within the Service.
4.1 Prohibited Content
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content. You strictly may not post Content that includes:
- Sexually explicit material, pornography, or nudity.
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats of violence against any individual or group.
- Illegal activities or promotion of illegal acts.
- Spam, scams, or malicious links.
- Defamatory or libelous statements.
4.2 Enforcement
TrustedBuds reserves the right to remove any Content that violates these terms without prior notice. Users found posting objectionable content will be blocked or banned from the Service immediately.
4.3 Reporting & Moderation
The Service provides an in-app mechanism to "Report" objectionable content and "Block" abusive users. We act on these reports within 24 hours to remove offending content and eject the user responsible.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. TrustedBuds is designed as a "Private-by-Default" network; your reviews are only visible to the specific groups you join.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall TrustedBuds, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
8. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
